Get to know me
Outside of therapy, I enjoy going for walks to enjoy nature, doing arts, having meaningful conversations over coffee, and taking time to slow down and reflect.
Experience
I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and am deeply committed to supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges. Over the past years, I’ve worked in non-profit settings with youth, teens, adults, and families. This experience has shown me how powerful it is to have access to meaningful, compassionate support. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.
I also bring lived experience of navigating transitions, uncertainty, and life’s challenges, which helps me meet you with compassion, patience, and respect.
I offer therapy in English and Arabic, and my goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and understood, just as you are.
My Approach
My approach is shaped not only by my counselling training, but also by my background in biology and understanding of the human body. I work from a biopsychosocial perspective, meaning I take the time to understand your whole story, your thoughts, emotions, physical experiences, and the life context that shapes them.
I offer a calm, collaborative space where you can show up as you are, and we can gently explore what’s weighing on you at your own pace.
Together, we work toward greater clarity, relief, and meaningful change in a way that feels manageable and respectful of where you are right now.
I draw from evidence-based approaches, including:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Solution-Focused Therapy
- Person-Centered Therapy
My work is also grounded in a trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach. I make space for all parts of your identity, your experiences, and your story.
Whether we are navigating difficult emotions, building coping tools, or making sense of past experiences, we move with warmth, curiosity, and compassion.
